Sketch comedy starring Eddie Cantor as host

Film biography of entertainer Eddie Cantor, with Keefe Brasselle starring as the popular stage, radio and movie comic.

A comedy show where two people comment over various famous movies.

Shot in his hometown of Washington D.C. and completely crowdfunded by his fans (known as Eddiots), stand-up comedian, actor and podcaster Eddie Pence performs his first one-hour special. Eddie jokes about Star Wars, killer chihuahuas, streaking, and his unique take on parenting in the cellar of the DC Comedy Loft.

William’s great surprise, his cousin Clovis, whom he did not see again since around thirty years, arrives from New York to visit him. Reunion between both men creates one thousand memories: always so collusive, they become fast inseparable, living again, the space of moment, their young years… Only Elizabeth, wife of William, who has just lost her father, does not share their cheerfulness.

In the sixties, Eddie and the cruisers was the hottest band around. But the tragic death of its lead singer broke the band up. Only Eddie is not dead. He works as a carpenter in Montreal. His love of music forces him to create a new band which will have to struggle with its anonymity.

This show is your chance to watch award-winning feature length films from around the world - many previously unavailable to the general public - while hearing all about the filmmakers themselves.
